The 2023 Season Parent Meeting will be on January 25 at 6:30 PM.  The meeting will be Microsoft Teams virtual/online.

The 2023 season registration is now OPEN  for both returning and new families. Please complete your registration soon, as spots fill up quickly! We will review waitlisted applicants and communicate whether or not we will increase team size over the coming weeks.

The 2023 season registration will open TOMORROW, December 12 for returning families. We will open registration to new families on Monday, December 19, so please complete your registration soon! Congrats to Johanna (center) for breaking the Gremlin Girls 1600m (one mile) record last weekend, with a time of 6:33! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our athletes! We'll see you this Saturday for our last regular season home meet. The first events will begin at 8:30 a.m. sharp! 

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped put on our first home meet of the season. A special shoutout to Gabe Bernardino, who broke the club record for the 3200 m (two mile) run with a time of 10:48:67! Way to go Gabe!

Dear NP Track Club Families,

Thank you for your patience as we have worked to secure the 2022 season. We are pleased to announce that we will have a season that will include weekly practice and meets at the NPHS track! To all of our wonderful parents who wrote letters to the administration  - THANK YOU! It worked! 

We will open registration very soon - hopefully this weekend. We will allow returning families to register first, and will then open registration to new families. 

We expect the season to begin January 31 or early in February, as soon as the new netting is installed at the NPHS field. 

Please be on the lookout for more information regarding our parents meeting, which will occur this month. 

Lastly, if you are interested in coaching this season (and we are interested in you being interested), please reach out to head coach Romana Danicova (danicova@yahoo.com).

The 2017 VCYTC Championships meet took place at Moorpark High School this past Saturday, May 6th It was a fantastic day and no less than 10 club and meet records were broken by Newbury Park Track Club athletes:

Youth Division boy Christian Middleton ran 23.13 in the 200 meters, improving his 23.46 club record set 4/1/17. This was also the meet record. Christian also ran 52.40 in the 400 meters, bettering his 52.80 set on 4/22/17!

Congratulations to several Newbury Park Panthers athletes who are no strangers to setting new club records.  Yesterday the Thousand Oaks Flyers joined us the for the dual meet of the 2017 track season at Newbury Park High School. It was an outstanding meet, with standout performances by athletes from both clubs.

Youth Boy Christian Middleton ran the 400 meters for the first time this season, with a mind-blowing time of 52.80, over 2 full seconds faster than the previous record of 54.85 set by T. Pagano in 2008.

Bantam Boy Chase Hansen took additional time off of two club records he previously broke last month, including the 400 meters in 64.78 and the 200 meters in 27.91.

Congratulations to all the athletes who participated in the So Cal Youth Invitational Meet at Ventura High School last weekend, April 8-9. Newbury Park Track Club had a small but mighty contingent of athletes at this meet. I counted 22 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes out of 53 events entered. Great job, Panthers!

Special mentions for the following standout performances:

• Bantam Boy Chase Hansen: Broke his own club record in the 100 meters two times! 14.00 in the prelims, then 13.90 in the finals
• Bantam Boys 4x400 Team of Carson Richter, Jaxsen Stokes, Alex Karsten and Chase Hansen beat the previous NPTC club record by nearly 14 seconds with a 4:45.98. This time also set the So Cal Youth Invitational meet record.
• Bantam Girl Lina Saley set a seven year old club record in the 200 meters with a time of 29.80!
• Ailish Hawkins was just .25 second off of a 33 year old club record in the 400 meters with her 64.25.
• Youth Boy Christian Middleton set the meet record with his 23.60 200 meters.

History was made today at the Oxnard/NP meet in Newbury Park! Panther Youth Boy Christian Middleton ran the 200 meters in 23.46, a time that no one in the history of the Newbury Park Track Club has previously run!
